This historic hotel dates back to 1897 when it was built by Joseph C. Metlen. In 1983, the hotel was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The two-story building had been a former saloon and luxury hotel for travelers on the railroad across Montana.

Hotel Metlen is believed to be quite haunted - especially in Room #19 and the downstairs bar area. A floating female apparition in a white dress has been spotted in these locations, and she is said to be nice to those she comes in contact with. In the back bar, a woman in a black bonnet has been seen, along with the apparition of a man in a cowboy hat.

Other paranormal reports at this hotel include strange voices and the smell of cigar smoke on the third floor when no one is around.

Reviews

Very scary

Why because there are ghost that tried to harm you and they speak to you and one of them try to play Daisy Bell with the piano inside and it scared me until that cowboy guy that got shot to death came up to me and slapped me on my shoulder and I ran out do not come here if you want to get hurt cause trust me that woman’s mom got killed in there that used to be a owner
