Part of The Old Montana Prison Complex, the prison that is now a museum was built in 1871 and operated until the 1970s. It's no surprise that the location is believed to be haunted, as it has seen countless tragedies, including executions, violent deaths, and riots. Some of the paranormal reports surrounding the museum include unexplained voices and footsteps that are heard on the grounds. The underground solitary confinement area is known for being a hot spot and witnesses have reported being touched or even pushed by unseen hands.
